Procap reports on the latest Communication, Journalism, and PR conferences of 2025 in Peru and Ecuador

Santo Domingo.- The Journalism Training Program (Procap) will close its 2025 training agenda with international Communication, Journalism and Public Relations congresses in Peru and Ecuador for journalists, communicators, public relations professionals, students and press workers in general from the Dominican Republic. The entity's director, journalist, and teacher Ramón Félix Lebrón, detailed the events available in Lima, Peru, from October 20 to 25, with a fee of $975; and in Quito, Ecuador, from November 11 to 15, with a cost of $875. He indicated that each activity includes: air tickets, lodging in double/triple occupancy, breakfasts, transfers in Peru and Ecuador, registrations, conferences, master classes, workshops and thematic tables, certificates, tourist and cultural tours, and travel insurance. He added that Procap will present a larger agenda of training activities abroad and nationally in 2026 and, as a novelty, will expand the options to Europe and Asia. Procap

During 2025, Procap has coordinated the participation of delegations of Dominican journalists, communicators, and students to the VII International Congress of the Association of Communication Faculties (Afacom) and the IX Meeting of Research Seedbeds in Popayán, Colombia; to the XVI International Journalism Meeting within the framework of the 37th Bogota International Book Fair (FILBo); to the X Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences-CLACSO in Bogota; to the 13th Gabo Festival of the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation in Bogota; and director Félix Lebrón attended as a speaker at the VI Meeting of the Colombian Association of Communication Researchers (Acicom) in Bogota.
