Santo Domingo.- The Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in the Dominican Republic (CAMACOESRD) held its traditional Spanish wine tasting, with the aim of strengthening commercial relations and fostering new business opportunities between Dominican and Spanish companies. The event took place at the Catalonia Santo Domingo Hotel and brought together representatives of the Spanish diplomatic corps, government officials, high-level executives, local entrepreneurs, and members of the Chamber, including its president, Paco Pérez, who highlighted the importance of the meeting as “a unique opportunity to consolidate the business ecosystem in an environment conducive to dialogue.” The activity included the participation of wine importing companies such as Álvarez & Sánchez, Almacenes Continente, El Catador, El Celler, Sembra, Señor Vino and Puro de Hostos, which offered a selection of representative labels of the Spanish winemaking tradition. During the tasting, the wines acted as a vehicle to generate conversations about investments, projects, and strategic alliances, reinforcing the event’s role as a space for professional networking and bilateral trade.
