SANTO DOMINGO, DR.– Senior executives and figures from Alofoke Media Group participated in the reception hosted by the United States Embassy in Santo Domingo to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence, a celebration led by Ambassador Leah Francis Campos at her residence that brought together nearly a thousand guests from various sectors of the country.
Representing the media group were CEO Santiago Matías (Alofoke), along with executives Melvin de León and David Jiménez, as well as Héctor Romero, director of the newspaper De Último Minuto, who were part of the exclusive event that brought together President Luis Abinader, former presidents, members of the Dominican government, representatives of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, and members of civil society and the press.

The representation of Alofoke Media Group was also composed of renowned talents from the platform, including Ramón Tolentino, Ariel Santana, Pedro Manuel Casals, and Eduardo Saint-Hilarie, who shared with the guests during the evening and reaffirmed the presence of one of the main communication and digital industry platforms in the Dominican Republic.
During the reception, Ambassador Campos highlighted that the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States celebrates the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the shared values between both nations, such as freedom, faith, and the commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
