Santo Domingo.– The weather conditions for this Thursday will be marked by the presence of a trough in the upper levels of the troposphere, which will cause scattered showers from the early hours of the morning, according to the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).
During the morning, the arrival of a mass of Saharan dust is expected, a phenomenon that will generate a warm environment, with a high thermal sensation in a large part of the national territory.
As the afternoon progresses, showers accompanied by thunderstorms and wind gusts will develop in inland provinces, including Monte Plata, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, San Juan, Elías Piña, Dajabón, Santiago, and Santiago Rodríguez. These conditions will persist until the early hours of the night.
Indomet also noted that tropical wave number 3 continues to move away from the country towards the southwest of the Caribbean Sea, decreasing its direct influence on the national territory.
