Effects of a trough will impact some locations in the country this Wednesday

Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (INDOMET), reported that this Wednesday, there will be an increase in humidity and instability over our area, due to the effects of a trough present at various levels of the troposphere.

For this reason, cloud increases will be generated near noon, during the afternoon and night, accompanied by locally heavy showers, thunderstorms and wind gusts that could be strong at times, mainly towards provinces such as: La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, San Juan, Hermanas Mirabal, Monseñor Nouel, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, Duarte, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, El Gran Santo Domingo and San Cristóbal.

For tomorrow, Thursday, a decrease in humidity is expected, due to the withdrawal of the trough in the afternoon. Especially towards: Puerto Plata, Samaná, La Altagracia, La Vega, Monte Plata, Monseñor Nouel, María Trinidad Sánchez, El Seibo, La Altagracia, Espaillat and Santiago. Pleasant temperatures.
