Acroarte celebrates the nominees for the first time for Premios Soberano 2026

Santo Domingo.- The Association of Art Chroniclers (Acroarte) brought together on Thursday night several artists who are debuting as nominees in the Soberano 2026 Awards, during the meeting entitled “My first time at the Soberano”, which brought together personalities from different categories in the classic, popular, cinema and communication categories. The initiative, organized by Acroarte, seeks to bring together singers, actors, musicians, composers, and communicators who receive their first nomination for the most important awards in Dominican art and entertainment. During the meeting with the press, the guests shared their experiences and emotions regarding their debut in the awards ceremony. In the discussion, figures from different areas of entertainment participated, including urban exponent Cecky Viciny, actress and content creator Nany Flow, as well as Christian artist Martha Candela, communicator Melisa Santos, artist Eudis El Invencible, journalists Millizen Uribe and Karina Alarcón, and announcer Joseph La Roca.

Also present were other figures from the artistic world such as Huguito and Paloma Rodríguez, who shared with the press and the other nominees the excitement of being part, for the first time, of this important awards ceremony. For his part, the bachata singer Dalvin La Melodía, known as “the bachata phenomenon,” who is currently on tour in Europe, sent a video in which he thanked the public for their love and support for his career, as well as the distinction of having been nominated for the Soberano Awards. The event “My First Time at the Soberano”, is part of the activities prior to the awards ceremony, where Acroarte seeks to highlight the new figures who are beginning to make their way into the Dominican entertainment industry.
