AIRD and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce reaffirm support for the Alliance for Well-being and Conscious Eating

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and SMEs (MICM) and the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD) reaffirmed their support for the cross-cutting axes of the Alliance for Well-being and Conscious Eating, an initiative through which healthy habits, informed consumption and responsible decisions are promoted to promote the well-being of the Dominican population.

Through the signing of a commitment letter, the entities highlight the objective of continuing to strengthen in an articulated manner the cross-cutting axes of the Alliance, giving continuity to the initiatives that have been developed around it since 2022.

The Alliance for Well-being has among its pillars the promotion of a culture of sport and physical activity in the country through the organization of events such as the 5K Walk for Well-being, whose third edition corresponding to 2025 will take place on Saturday, October 25th in Mirador Park.

As of the date, public entities such as the National Institute for Consumer Rights Protection (Pro Consumidor) are part of this initiative, as well as business associations such as the Dominican Association of Commercial Communication Companies (ADECC), the Dominican Association of Dairy Industries (ADIL), the Dominican Association of Broadcasters (ADORA), and the Association of Non-Alcoholic Beverage Industries (ASIBENAS).

With this Alliance, the industrial sector and state entities reinforce their commitment to the well-being of Dominican families and encourage them to follow up on their initiatives on their official page: https://www.alimentacionybienestar.do as well as on their social networks.
