Haiti.- A plane covering a domestic flight in Haiti made an emergency landing this Wednesday morning in the Lafito sector, with no human casualties reported, ZED Airlines informed.
The aircraft, a Cessna 402B with registration HI-1056, was operating flight 6502 from Cap-Haïtien bound for Port-au-Prince when the incident occurred, around 11:00 in the morning.
Three people were on board: two passengers and the pilot, who survived the emergency landing and were transported to receive medical attention.
In a statement, ZED Airlines explained that the causes of the incident are still under investigation and that both the competent authorities and the company’s technical team are conducting a thorough assessment to determine what caused the forced landing.

“We regret to inform the public that an incident involving our flight 6502 occurred today… The circumstances of this event are being subjected to a thorough evaluation by the authorities and our technical team,” the airline stated.
The company confirmed that all occupants of the aircraft are receiving medical assistance and reiterated that there were no fatalities.
So far, the Haitian authorities have not offered an official report on the possible causes of the incident, while investigations continue to clarify what happened.
