Santo Domingo.- The United States Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Leah Francis Campos, met with Vice Admiral José Manuel Cabrera Ulloa, president of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), with the aim of reinforcing bilateral cooperation in the fight against narcoterrorism and ongoing joint operations.
The DNCD has continued to demonstrate a strong operational capacity through significant seizures and coordinated actions with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the United States Department of State. The DEA and INL have facilitated joint operations and training for the DNCD, strengthening its capabilities, including support for specialized units and the exchange of best practices in interdiction and intelligence.Nationals
