Santo Domingo.- The National District Instruction Court issued an arrest warrant for José Cuello Collado, for being accused of assaulting his ex-partner, whom he also threatened to kill with a
gun.
Law enforcement authorities are actively pursuing the accused in order to apprehend and bring him to justice.
According to the victim identified as Bresca Losangel Taveras Vargas, in the judicial document, on January 21st of this year, the aggressor showed up at her former residence located on Dr. Jacinto Ignacio Mañón Street, in the Ensanche Paraíso Sector, of the National District, along with two people, a woman and a man.
At that very moment, the accused told the complainant, in a violent manner, that if she was stalking him, while having a firearm in the right front pocket of his pants, so he proceeded to go to another apartment.
Following this, he shouted at him to check carefully, because those people were not with him; then he came after him with the said weapon in his hand and told him that he wanted to give him two bullets in the head, then he physically assaulted her on the left ear with the butt of the firearm, then he chased her and kicked the door of the apartment where she had stayed.
According to the data obtained, this individual has an extensive history of similar acts, which makes him a repeat offender in committing this type of aggression against women.
