Caño Grande Bonao celebrates its seventh day of patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgen de la Altagracia

Bonao.– The community of Caño Grande continues to celebrate with fervor and devotion its patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgen de la Altagracia, on the occasion of the seventh day of these religious festivities that take place in the chapel Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia.

As part of the liturgical program, the holy mass was celebrated, presided over by the Reverend Father Ambiorix Tolentino, a guest priest on this day. During the Eucharist, the father highlighted the importance of faith, community unity, and Marian devotion, urging those present to strengthen Christian values.

The patron saint festivities feature the participation of a guest priest each day and will extend until January 21, the date on which the Day of the Virgin of Altagracia, patron saint of the Dominican people, is commemorated.

The celebration was accompanied by the Ministry of Music Las Elegidas, who raised chants and praises during the mass. The organization of the Eucharists has been in charge of the Grupo de Maús, responsible for coordinating each of the religious meetings. The community of Caño Grande invites all parishioners and the general public to participate in the culmination of the patron saint festivities this Tuesday January 21st, with the final mass to be held at 5:00 in the afternoon in the chapel Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, as the closing of these traditional festivities full of faith and tradition.
