Cardi B declares herself a fan of La Casa de Alofoke, but amidst laughter warns that she would only go if they send her a private jet, Victorina chicken, and key limes.
Dominican-born rapper Cardi B publicly responded to the invitation from Santiago Matías (Alofoke) to participate as a special guest on his successful reality show La Casa de Alofoke.
Very true to her fun style, Cardi responded with humor, making Dominican cultural references and a list of requests to be able to go to the show.
This added: “But right now I’m doing so many things with my new album that I’m free in October. If the house is still active in October, I’ll go there and even fight.” The artist, whose father is Dominican, has maintained a constant connection with the country, both in her public image and in her social media content. And on this occasion it was no exception: Cardi used references very typical of the Dominican people, ranging from typical food to well-known forms of transport in the country."I want to go to La Casa de Alofoke, because that's always on television at my aunt's house and at my grandmother's house. I even feel like I'm at home," the artist expressed.

Taking advantage of the moment, the rapper continued her message in a joking tone, detailing a series of "requirements" that, according to her, Alofoke was not willing to fulfill. Among them, a 30-seat private jet, eight buckets of Victorina chicken, and 30 pounds of lemongrass. “Guys, I was going to go to La Casa de Alofoke, but Alofoke doesn't want to accommodate me. I told him to send me a 30-seat jet, round trip, and he said no. I asked for eight buckets of Victorina chicken, and he said no. I told him to give me 30 pounds of lemongrass, and he also said no. So how do you want me to go there? On a Caribe Tours bus? Hahahaha. I'm not going to La Casa de Alofoke,” he said with a laugh. The anecdote, although full of humor, also demonstrates the level of cultural reach that La Casa de Alofoke has achieved, not only in the country, but also among the Dominican diaspora, especially in the United States. That a figure like Cardi B is aware of what happens on the show and sees it as part of the family environment is a sign of the impact it has generated. The reality show, broadcast through digital platforms, has positioned itself as one of the spaces with the most conversation on social media within the Dominican entertainment world. The possible participation of Cardi B would not only generate greater interest, but would also consolidate her connection with an audience that considers her "one of us". For the moment, there is no official confirmation about her appearance on the show, but her words left the possibility open. If the production team manages to meet some of her "conditions", we could see Cardi crossing that door... with chicken in hand and ready to put on her own show inside the house.
