Samaná.- The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, assured that the Dominican Republic remains "cautious and attentive" to the current global crisis, while highlighting the strategic actions that are being implemented to protect the growth of the tourism sector.
The statements were offered during an inauguration in the tourist municipality of Las Terrenas, where the official addressed the media to refer to the international landscape and its possible impact on the country.
Collado explained that the Government, through the Ministry of Tourism, is strengthening alliances with different countries and airlines, as part of a preventive strategy against possible variations in fuel prices, which could affect the flow of visitors.
