Santo Domingo Norte. The International Ministry Monte de Dios Horeb inaugurated its new temple this Friday, considered the one with the largest capacity in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean region, with space to accommodate more than 7,000 people.
The consecration ceremony was led by the pastors and founders of the ministry, Miguel and Montserrat Bogaert, and was attended by President Luis Abinader; First Lady Raquel Arbaje; and Apostle Guillermo Maldonado, founder of the El Rey Jesús International Ministry in Miami, United States. The event was also attended by national and international religious leaders, government authorities, and representatives from various sectors.
During the activity, the Bogaert pastors expressed their gratitude for the support received and highlighted that the new temple was born with the purpose of serving as a space for worship, prayer, and spiritual formation, reaffirming their commitment to continue promoting Christian values and the strengthening of Dominican families.
The new infrastructure is located on Transversal 12 Street, in Colinas del Arroyo II, Santo Domingo Norte, near Jacobo Majluta Avenue. It was built on a 45,000 square meter plot and features a 16,000 square meter auditorium, making it the religious infrastructure with the largest capacity in the region.

The construction of the temple began with the groundbreaking ceremony held on November 5, 2014, and work formally commenced in 2018. The project represents a new step in the growth of the ministry, founded in 2004, whose congregation has experienced sustained expansion for over two decades.
Currently, the Monte de Dios Horeb International Ministry has churches in La Romana, San Francisco de Macorís, and Tenares, in addition to providing pastoral coverage to a network of 21 congregations both within and outside the country. It also develops spiritual formation programs and social projects through the Horeb Open Heavens Foundation, with medical missions, community assistance, and activities aimed at strengthening families.
