Governor Teodora Mullix Geraldino held an important meeting last Thursday with a distinguished commission from the province of Samaná, made up of deputy Cecilio García (Pimpe), the municipal director of the Municipal District of Las Galeras, Ana Reyes; Luis Felipe Fermín, representative of Arroyo Barril, and Rafy Mercado, from Limón.
The meeting was held with three vice ministers from the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, with the purpose of addressing the main infrastructure needs in the demarcation.
Progress and needs in the community of El Valle de Samaná (Las Terrenas), as well as in other territories that require urgent intervention to guarantee connectivity and development. Likewise, the governor highlighted the projects currently underway, emphasizing the importance of continuing them and ensuring their completion in the shortest possible time. On behalf of the ministry, the Vice Minister of Infrastructure, the Vice Minister of Paving, and the Vice Minister of Local Roads participated, who listened attentively to the requests made and reaffirmed their willingness to coordinate actions to continue promoting the development of the entire province.
