The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Thursday, July 9, as follows:

Financial Institutions reported a purchase rate of RD$57.62 and a selling rate of RD$60.47.

In the daily comparison, the local currency showed a slight appreciation of 0.09% in the purchase and 0.01% in the sale.

However, the most relevant data is observed when comparing it with the close of 2025, where the purchase rate stood at RD$61.98. This represents an accumulated appreciation of 7.58% in the purchase rate and 5.62% in the sale rate for this sector.

In the Remittance and Exchange Agents segment, the dollar was quoted at RD$58.54 for purchase and RD$59.68 for sale.

As in the banking sector, there was a daily appreciation in the purchase rate (0.10%), although the selling rate experienced a minimal depreciation of -0.01% compared to the previous day.
