The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Wednesday, July 8, as follows:
Financial institutions presented a purchase rate of RD$57.67 and a sale rate of RD$60.48.
Compared to the previous day, this represents an appreciation of the peso of 0.03% in the purchase and 0.12% in the sale.
On the other hand, remittance and exchange agents operated with a purchase rate of RD$58.60 and a sale rate of RD$59.68.
In this sector, the appreciation compared to the previous day was 0.01% for buying and 0.17% for selling.
According to the latest survey by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, the Dominican peso recorded a slight daily appreciation and maintains a robust recovery so far this year against the US dollar.
