Erreway reaffirms Dominicans' love with a memorable concert in Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo, RD - On Friday night, the legendary Argentinian band, Erreway, returned to the stages of the Dominican Republic with their tour "Juntos Otra Vez", after more than two decades since their last performance on Dominican soil. This evening, held at the Santo Domingo Olympic Center Soccer Stadium, was more than special, as fans from different generations who came from various parts of the Dominican Republic and abroad were able to enjoy the group's extensive discography, as well as reminisce about special moments in their lives.

Despite the intense rains that lashed the Dominican capital and affected entry to the venue and the normal development of the concert, thousands of fans of the group and its members: Camila Bordonaba, Felipe Colombo and Benjamín Rojas, stayed in the rain and cold, ready to enjoy the presentation. The concert formally began at 9:33 p.m. at the rhythm of "Girar", one of the songs that make up "Vuelvo", the group's fourth studio album, immediately turning "the hectic night due to the weather" into a special and emotional evening that served as a bridge to demonstrate the love they feel for each of the band members.

Euphoria immediately seized thousands of fans, who, despite the rain, which threatened to ruin the evening, stood firm, eagerly awaiting to enjoy each of the songs performed in the show of the famous Argentine group. Throughout the night, songs like "Rebelde Way", “Memoria", “Tiempo", "Solo Sé", “Que Estés”, “Dame”, “Vamos al Ruedo”, “Te Soñé”, “Mi Vida”, “Vivo Cómo Vivo” and many others continued, heightening the excitement of the audience, who sang along in unison to each of the songs.

The memorable presentation also had an acoustic set, where, in a more emotional and nostalgic tone, some of Erreway's most legendary songs were performed, such as "Será de Dios", "Dije Adiós / Amor Engaño", "Dos Segundos / Aún Ahora", "Me Da Igual" and "Asignatura Pendiente". This musical number gave those present the opportunity to remember and take a trip to the past, this being one of the most emotional and exciting moments of the night, seen on the faces of those present, who, visibly moved, even cried. The graphics, visual effects, and lighting were not essential elements of the Erreway presentation. On one occasion, a "thank you" was projected on the screen with the Dominican Republic flag as a background, raising the patriotism of the Dominicans present to a thousand.

Although the bad weather was present, hundreds of fans gathered to relive the hits of the band that marked an entire generation. What initially promised to be a catwalk of outfits inspired by the characteristic style of the group members, ended up becoming a sea of plastic covers, umbrellas, bathing caps and raincoats.

Interviewed by De Último Minuto, several fans expressed their joy at being able to be present at the concert, regardless of the weather conditions. "This is more than a concert for me, it's a trip to the past, I feel like a teenager," commented a young woman who attended the concert from Miami covered with a plastic cover.

With umbrellas in hand and an unwavering attitude, the fans proved that music transcends time and weather conditions, making Erreway's return to the Dominican Republic a very special one.

Erreway is not just a band, it's a cultural phenomenon that was born in the heart of Argentina in the year 2002, during the filming of the successful telenovela Rebelde Way. Formed by Camila Bordonaba, Felipe Colombo, and Benjamín Rojas, the group quickly established itself as one of the most beloved in the region.
