Santo Domingo.– As part of the actions aimed at preserving order, security, and healthy coexistence in Ciudad Juan Bosch, and in response to reports made by residents through the Reporta con Conciencia platform, the Public Ministry, in coordination with the Security team of the Trust for the Construction of Low-Cost Housing in the Dominican Republic (Fideicomiso VBC RD), carried out an operation on Sunday in different commercial plazas in the community.
As a result of the operation, the authorities proceeded to close two establishments linked to irregular activities and the sale of alcoholic beverages, in addition to issuing a formal notification to another business, measures aimed at ensuring compliance with current regulations and protecting community coexistence.
Among the establishments intervened is the Minimarket La Marquesa, closed for the second time due to recidivism in the detected offenses. Likewise, a clandestine pool hall located on the second level of Plaza La Marquesa was shut down, which was also closed for the second time. During the operation, the authorities issued a formal notification to the Golden Barber Shop, whose owner was summoned to appear before the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding purposes.
Colonel Frank A. Báez Sabala, ERD, head of Security for the VBC-RD Trust, highlighted the importance of citizen collaboration to maintain coexistence in the community.

“We call on the entire population to continue collaborating with the authorities, reporting any activity that disrupts public order and avoiding support for establishments that fail to comply with regulations. Building a safe and organized community is a shared responsibility. With everyone’s participation, we will be able to continue strengthening the model of coexistence that we want for Ciudad Juan Bosch,” the colonel expressed.

For his part, the executive director of the VBC-RD Trust, Camel Curi Lora, thanked the citizens for the commitment shown in the protection and well-being of the community.
“Every report made through Reporta con Conciencia represents a sign of commitment to collective well-being and allows us to act in a timely manner together with the competent authorities. This result demonstrates that when the community and institutions work together, positive changes are achieved for everyone,” stated Curi Lora.
The VBC-RD Trust reiterated its commitment to continue working hand in hand with the Public Ministry, security authorities, and residents to ensure compliance with regulations, strengthen peaceful coexistence, and preserve the quality of life for families residing in Ciudad Juan Bosch.
