The singer Eudis Alcántara Valdez, better known as “Eudis El Invencible”, celebrates his first nomination for the Soberano Awards 2026 in the category “Bachata of the Year”, for his song “Tik Tok”. The distinction marks a milestone in the artist's career, who has worked for 20 years to establish himself within the Dominican music industry.
During a press meeting held with first-time nominees for the Eudis award, he expressed his gratitude: "Happy, content, thanking God and Acroarte for taking my work into account. May God bless Acroarte and all its members who evaluated my work. It's the first time I've sent my portfolio, and the work is paying off; so you have to keep working and sending your material," commented the artist.
When recounting how he received the news of his nomination, Eudis did not hide his enthusiasm. "I am very happy because I am alongside the greats of the genre like Anthony Santos, Frank Reyes, Zacarías Ferreira and Ronald Núñez. What I like most is that the nominees recognize that this award should be for El Invencible", he affirmed.
Eudis Alcántara was born in Elías Piña and moved to Santo Domingo at the age of 17, where he joined the Dominican Republic Army. It was in that environment that he began to develop his musical talent, participating in internal activities and military groups.
