Eugenio María de Hosto Labor School of Neyba Celebrates its Annual Graduation and Presentation of Achievements 2025

Neyba, Bahoruco – The Eugenio María de Hostos Labor School successfully held its annual graduation today, highlighting the achievements of 200 graduates in 21 different areas of training. These include careers such as photography, plumbing, decoration, dental assistance, and medical visitor, among others, which open up new opportunities for the youth of the region. This event was attended by different personalities from the province, it is worth highlighting Senator for Bahoruco Guillermo Lama, sports leader José Mercedes Acosta Rivas, Virginia Encarnación Director of Regional 18, Ana Sobeyba Cena Director of the nursing department of this city of Neyba, among others. Yoxandys Novas, director of the institution, expressed that this event represents a constant challenge every year. "Our mission is to guide these young people towards the path of knowledge and the acquisition of skills that allow them to become productive professionals," she emphasized. In addition, she called on all the young people in the community to join the next academic cycle, highlighting the importance of equipping themselves with the necessary tools to build a more useful and satisfying life.

For her part, Professor Pelagia Segura highlighted that this graduation symbolizes a significant advance for the southern region of the country, which faces economic challenges. "Education and technical training are key to improving the quality of life in our communities. This type of initiative not only offers young people a brighter future, but also contributes to local economic development," she commented.

The celebration was not only a source of pride for the graduates and their families, but also a reminder of the positive impact that education can have on the growth of the community.
