The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Monday, October 20, 2025, as follows:
In Financial Entities, the Euro's buying rate closed at RD$73.09, while the selling rate stood at RD$75.10.
Exchange and Remittance Agents report slightly different rates. The buying rate is RD$71.96 and the selling rate is RD$76.32.
In the long term, the Euro has experienced a strong appreciation. Since the close of 2024, the depreciation of the Dominican peso against the Euro has been considerable, reaching -13.86% in the buying rate (against RD$62.95) and -13.91% in the selling rate (against RD$64.65).
Compared to a year ago, the depreciation of the exchange rate was -11.28% on purchase and -10.98% on sale
