The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Thursday, July 9, as follows:
Financial Entities reported a purchase rate of RD$65.76 and a sale rate of RD$69.98.
Compared to the previous day, a slight depreciation of -0.03% was observed in the purchase and -0.01% in the sale.
In the Remittance and Exchange Agent sector, the Euro was quoted at RD$67.26 for purchase and RD$69.35 for sale.
Unlike banks, this segment showed a slight daily appreciation of 0.18% in the purchase price and 0.21% in the selling price compared to the previous day.
The most recent data from the foreign exchange market survey, conducted by the International Department and the Sub-directorate of Domestic Exchange Affairs, show a trend of strengthening of the local currency against the Euro when comparing current rates with the records from the end of the previous year and from a year ago.
