The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Tuesday, July 21, as follows:

In financial institutions, the purchase rate stood at RD$65.75, while the selling rate closed at RD$69.65. The purchase rate experienced a 0.13% appreciation of the euro, while the selling rate depreciated by 0.15%.

For their part, at remittance and exchange agents, the euro was quoted at RD$66.70 for purchase and RD$68.81 for sale. The European currency recorded a depreciation of 0.11% in the purchase and remained stable (0.00%) in the sale.

The euro exchange market in the Dominican Republic showed a sustained depreciation trend during the year 2026, according to the most recent window survey published by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.

The loss of value of the euro is significantly more pronounced when analyzing performance since the beginning of the year.

Likewise, compared to the rates recorded a year ago (July 2025), the euro reflects a year-on-year depreciation of approximately 4% in both sectors.
