Santo Domingo. - The Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, assured that "there will be no impunity" in the case of the five men who died last Wednesday during an alleged exchange of gunfire with National Police officers in the La Barranquita sector, in Santiago.
Similarly, Raful revealed that the General Directorate of the National Police ordered the immediate suspension of the acting agents, who have already been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for investigation purposes.
Raful, through his social network X, posted the following: "The investigation will be carried out to its ultimate consequences, with a total commitment to transparency towards the citizenry. There will be no impunity; order is built with legality and justice, and we will assume all responsibilities that the process determines," he expressed.
