Father and daughter injured in traffic accident on Hato Mayor–San Pedro highway

Hato Mayor.– A man and his 10-year-old daughter were injured after being involved in a traffic accident that occurred on the Hato Mayor–San Pedro de Macorís highway, near the well-known curve of the cabins, this Sunday afternoon.

The victims were identified as Francisco Gabriel Pacheco, 30 years old, and his daughter Vianny Pacheco Mejía, who reside in the community of Los Hatillos, in the municipal district of Guayabo Dulce. According to the preliminary report, both were traveling on a motorcycle when they collided with a van under circumstances that are still under investigation. The man suffered a head trauma and a significant wound on his forehead, so he was admitted in a delicate condition to the emergency room.
