Havana, Cuba. – The traditional classic cars that roam the streets of Havana, considered one of the most representative symbols of Cuban tourism, have begun to reduce their operations due to the fuel shortage affecting the country.
Owners and drivers of these vintage vehicles reported the difficulties they face in acquiring gasoline, a situation that has forced many to keep their cars parked or to significantly reduce the trips they offer to both residents and foreign visitors.
The well-known American vehicles from the 1940s and 1950s are part of the tourist image of the Cuban capital and constitute an important source of income for hundreds of families dedicated to transportation and tourist tours.
