The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) announced the appointment of Nathalie Alvarado Vega as its new representative in the Dominican Republic. Alvarado assumed the position on September 1st.
Alvarado, of Colombian nationality, has more than 25 years of experience in Latin America and the Caribbean in institutional strengthening, especially in citizen security and justice. In his new role, Alvarado will be responsible for the implementation of the IDB Group's strategy in the Dominican Republic for the period 2025-2028.
