Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (Indomet) reported that a large part of the country is enjoying good weather conditions, due to the influence of an anticyclonic system. However, isolated, weak, and passing showers are currently occurring towards locations near the coasts of La Romana, Hato Mayor, La Altagracia, San Cristóbal, Santo Domingo, and San Pedro de Macorís (soon over Peravia) as a result of the dragging of clouds, generated by a weak trough, through the southeast wind.
During the next few hours, these showers will move away from the coast, occurring over other locations in Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Monte Plata, Duarte, Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Nouel and the mountainous area of the southwest, while the rest of the country remains with isolated clouds.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the effects of the weak trough will be counteracted by the incidence of the anticyclonic system and the slightly humid air mass associated with it. Due to this, an environment of isolated clouds is expected over most of the Dominican territory. However, in the afternoon, increases in cloudiness are expected towards the Central Mountain Range and the mountainous areas of the southwest and north of the country, with isolated showers, from weak to locally moderate, especially over Pedernales, Baoruco, the southwest of Santiago, San José de Ocoa, Elías Piña, Puerto Plata and the south of La Vega. The temperatures will be slightly warm, due to the warm and humid southeast wind.National District: clear coastal zone. Some isolated showers towards the north, transitioning to isolated cloud cover.
Santo Domingo norte: partly cloudy with isolated showers, becoming a sky with few clouds. Santo Domingo Este: clear coastal zone. Some isolated showers towards the north, transitioning to isolated cloudy skies. Santo Domingo oeste: partly cloudy with isolated showers, becoming a sky with few clouds. Minimum temperatures between 21 °C and 23 °C and the maximum between 30 °C and 32 °C.
