Santo Domingo.– The National Institute of Transit and Terrestrial Transportation (Intrant) has enabled a new office for driver's licenses in the facilities of the National Vehicle Retention Center (Cenarve), located at kilometer 20 of the Duarte highway, with the aim of bringing services closer to citizens of Pedro Brand, Villa Altagracia, La Cuaba, Los Alcarrizos, Pantoja, Villa Linda and Palmarejo, among other communities.
The initiative promoted by the executive director of Intrant, Milton Morrison, seeks to continue strengthening the citizen service experience through comprehensive spaces that allow for the execution of different processes related to transit and transportation in one place. “We are working to ensure that citizens can access closer, more agile and efficient services, in spaces that allow them to resolve multiple needs in the same place and live a different care experience,” expressed Morrison. He also informed that starting next July, Intrant plans to incorporate a driving circuit in these facilities, which will also allow offering the service of issuing licenses for the first time for motor vehicle drivers. From his side, the general director of the National Police, Major General Andrés Modesto Cruz Cruz, valued the initiative and highlighted the importance of continuing to strengthen the inter-institutional articulation to offer more timely and organized responses to the citizenry. During the activity, the renewal of the new driver's license was also delivered to Major General Andrés Modesto Cruz Cruz himself, and to the general director of Digesett, General Pascual Cruz Méndez, who toured the module with the executive director of Intrant, Milton Morrison. We recommend reading:Intrant trains Customs aforadores on approved helmet regulations
