Jerusalem.- The Israeli Army killed a couple and their four minor children (aged 12, 11, 9, and 5) early this Tuesday by bombing their home with a drone in Gaza City, the Strip’s Ministry of Health informed EFE.
“Our teams recovered the bodies of five martyrs (a mother, her son, and her three daughters) after an Israeli bombardment struck the Al Masri family home, opposite the Chamber of Commerce on Al Thalatini Street, south of Gaza City, at dawn today,” states a report from the enclave’s Civil Defense emergency service, although the Health Ministry puts the total number of victims at six.
The ministry shared with EFE the registry of the deceased, which includes the six members of the Al Masri family: Firas (father) and Salsabil (mother), both 33 years old; Amira, 5; Salma, 9; Ferial, 11; and the only boy, Naim, 12.
According to Civil Defense, firefighting teams had to work to prevent the spectacular fire unleashed by the bombing from spreading to neighboring homes.
Israel claims its target was a Hamas member
Consulted by this agency regarding the matter, the Israeli Army acknowledged the bombing but emphasized that it targeted a member of the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas.

It is the second attack in just days in which the Israeli armed forces have killed a family and caused a very high number of deceased minors.
Gazan capital. Then, in addition to ending the lives of the father and mother of the family home, the attack murdered their daughter Awa, eight years old, and their sons Ibrahim and Yahya, 15 and 17.
This very Tuesday, Israel released a statement asserting that Adham Nasman, the father of the minors, belonged to Hamas’s Gaza brigade.

When consulting an Army spokesperson about the death of the three minors and their mother, she asserted that they had taken “precautionary measures” to avoid civilian deaths, such as precision munitions.
More and more deaths despite the ceasefire
On Friday, Israel bombed a funeral procession in the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing seven people. The Army justified the attack, accusing one of the seven deceased of belonging to Islamic Jihad.
These attacks follow a pattern in which Israel is increasing the frequency and lethality of its bombings in Gaza, with days ending in a dozen fatalities, ignoring the ceasefire in effect since October 2025.

The total figure has soared to nearly 73,300 since October 7, 2023, when Israel launched its offensive in retaliation for the attack by Gazan militias on its territory, in which they killed 1,200 people and kidnapped 251.
