Man arrested after attempting to attack his ex-wife's partner with a machete in the parking lot of the Jarabacoa Prosecutor's Office

Jarabacoa.-A man was arrested by National Police agents on the afternoon of this Tuesday, after starring in a tense incident in the parking lot of the Palace of Justice of the municipality of Jarabacoa.

According to preliminary information, the individual, allegedly motivated by personal conflicts, would have tried to attack with a machete the current partner of his ex-partner, regardless of the fact that the woman was holding a girl in her arms at that moment.

The rapid intervention of members of the National Police prevented the situation from escalating. The man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody for the corresponding procedures.

The event caused concern among citizens in the vicinity, who reiterated the call to maintain prudence and resolve conflicts through legal channels.
