Santo Domingo. - Immigration and Consular Law expert lawyer, Sabet Cruz, clarified the recent confusion about consular interviews derived from the provisions implemented since October.
He pointed out that it is not correct to state that all applicants must attend an interview, as this requirement only applies to senior citizens applying for a visa for the first time or renewing it, as well as to people of any age applying for the first time.
Cruz specified that this measure does not include those who already have a visa obtained when they were younger and only need to renew it, who could continue to qualify for the interview waiver according to the current criteria.
