Santo Domingo Norte.- The Dr. Mario Tolentino Dipp General and Specialties Hospital reported that it successfully performed, for the first time, a minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery, a cutting-edge procedure used for the treatment of various spinal pathologies.

This innovative technique allows for faster recovery, less postoperative pain, smaller incisions, and a significant reduction in hospitalization time, offering important benefits for patients, the hospital reports in a note received by El Nuevo Diario.

The intervention was performed by the neurosurgery team composed of doctors Ariel Gómez Bidó and Clinio Pozo, with the support of anesthesiologist Luis Daniel Gómez, as well as the neuromonitoring team, nursing staff, and the technical support of Aubrimarc Medical.
