Santiago.- Singer Martha Heredia shared through her social media the good news that her firstborn, Gerardo Felipe, is now in good health and was discharged after being hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The good news was revealed through a social media post, where Heredia shared a photo of her baby's little hand next to hers and that of her partner, Mexican bachata singer Geraldo Lares.
“We are complete. God is good! Thank you for praying and for encouraging us, this happiness is also yours,” the singer shared in the post.
The winner of Latin American Idol had shared the news that her baby was hospitalized after undergoing surgery to have a catheter placed in his lung, after his due date was brought forward.

Heredia had asked his followers to pray for the health of his baby, as initially the situation was a little delicate, achieving his medical discharge and having his family complete.
Through social media, Martha took the opportunity to thank all the healthcare staff who assisted her in the process, as well as her followers, friends, and family for their prayers and support.
Likewise, she showed images of her prince's room, expressing to her followers the emotion she feels of being able to have her baby safe and sound with her.
Gerardo Felipe is the result of the relationship between both artists, Martha Heredia and Geraldo Lares, who got engaged on March 25th during the red carpet of Premios Soberano 2025.
