Las Terrenas, Samaná. Mayor Eduardo Esteban Polanco stated that the municipality is preparing to take on one of its biggest challenges of the year, after participating in a coordination meeting with the Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, along with provincial authorities and security agencies.
The municipal executive highlighted that Las Terrenas, recognized as one of the country’s busiest destinations during Holy Week, is experiencing notable pressure on its services and public spaces due to the large number of people who travel to this tourist area. In that sense, it was pointed out that the mayor’s office is strengthening actions aimed at organizing traffic, cleaning, solid waste management, and the ordering of public areas, with the aim of guaranteeing a safe and adequate stay for both visitors and residents.Related News
