Miches. – With joy and hope, the residents of Miches celebrated the reopening of the Tourist Pier, a work they consider a firm step towards the economic and social development of their community.
The community agreed that the pier not only beautifies the coastline, but also opens up opportunities for employment, commerce and local tourism. "They should have fixed this a long time ago, but they've already done it. We feel good because this is going to contribute a lot. Anyone who comes and buys even a small bag of water helps us all. That moves the economy," said Neuro Linare, a resident of the coastal area.
For Rafael Bonilla Viloria, a fisherman and merchant, the work represents a new stage for the municipality. "It's very good for the president, thank God he is working for the people of Miches. This is going to improve our economy. I have friends who are already thinking about buying boats to carry tourists. It's going to be something very beautiful," he affirmed enthusiastically.
