The National Police denied the information that circulated in some media and digital platforms about an alleged kidnapping of a minor in a community in the province of La Vega, clarifying that there was no kidnapping, but an alleged attempted robbery in a home.
The clarification was offered after activating the verification and investigation protocols, including the version disseminated on social media and other informational spaces.
As a result of the initial investigations, it was established that a person in the process of identification entered a home for criminal purposes, without any attempt of kidnapping taking place.
