"No to violence": Sheinbaum denounces violence at the Generation Z march in Mexico

The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, condemned the violence during the massive march of Generation Z, which took place in Mexico City and called for it to continue through "the peaceful path", after a group of hooded men infiltrated the protesters and knocked down the fences that guarded the National Palace, headquarters of the Executive, in the Zócalo of the Mexican capital.

"We say no to violence. If one does not agree, one must demonstrate peacefully. Violence should never be used to achieve change; always through peaceful means," he stated.

Under the symbolism of the anime 'One Piece', the young protesters raised their voices to demand greater security and better opportunities as the main claim of the protest.
