One dead and two injured during vehicle collision on Autovía del Nordeste

Monte Plata. – One person died and two others were injured after a collision between two vehicles that occurred this Wednesday at kilometer 49 of the highway of the northeast, near Salto Socoa, in the province of Monte Plata. The deceased was identified as Santos Paredes Saldaña, 51 years old, originally from Villa Rivas. While the injured are Katerinne Beatriz Díaz Aquino, 34 years old, residing in Santo Domingo, and Daniel González de los Santos, 25, originally from Piedra Blanca, Bonao, according to the Civil Defense. The injured were assisted by units of the National Emergency and Security Attention System 9-1-1 and transferred to the Dr. Ángel Contreras Provincial Hospital, in Monte Plata.
