Santo Domingo.- In a gesture of solidarity, RD$300,000 pesos were given to Mrs. María Argentina Mercedes, mother of little Ross Mary Medina, a girl of just 1 year and 1 month old who is facing the diagnosis of congenital sclerosing cholangitis.

The illness has severely deteriorated her liver and put her life at risk. Due to the complexity of the case, Ross Mary urgently needs a transplant that will be performed in Argentina, a procedure that represents a high economic cost for her family. The funds were raised during the missions of the participants of Planeta Alofoke and personally delivered by the head of missions, Melissa Gate.

The delivery of the contribution represents a relief for the minor’s mother, who for weeks has requested help through different platforms to be able to cover medical expenses, medications, specialized studies and the process of transfer and surgery outside the country. María Argentina thanked the support of the members of the reality show Planeta Alofoke. “Thank you to everyone who has contributed and continues to care for the girl,” said the mother.
