Valverde. The National Police, in coordination with the Regional Sub-directorate of Investigation (DICRIM), arrested a man identified for his alleged involvement in a case of sexual assault and threats against a 16-year-old teenager, which occurred in the municipality of Laguna Salada.
The detainee was identified as Adison José Martínez Guzmán, alias “El Rubio Casa Nova”, 28 years old, who was arrested under judicial order number 541/2026, issued on July 9th by the corresponding authorities.
According to preliminary investigations, the man is accused of the alleged violation of articles 331 and 396 of the Dominican Penal Code, related to the crimes of sexual assault and threats. The complaint was filed by the teenager’s mother on behalf of her daughter.
The law enforcement institution reported that the detainee will be referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, where the corresponding legal actions will be determined in accordance with the judicial process.
The National Police indicated that it will continue to carry out investigations and operational tasks aimed at pursuing those identified as committing crimes that affect the integrity and safety of children and adolescents.
