For its part, the General Directorate of Road Protection and Safety (Provial) reported that the accident occurred at kilometer 43 of the route connecting the villages of Laguna Seca and El Pepinal. The overturned bus keeps the passage closed in both directions, which has complicated mobility in the sector while the tasks of expert examination and removal of the unit are carried out.
In the heartbreaking images shared from the scene of the accident and outside the hospitals, parents can be seen desperate to know the health status of their children. Amidst screams and tears, family members seek answers while rescue teams continue evacuation efforts in a scene that remains critical.
