Social area opens at the Casa Club of the Medical College, CMD, in Neiba

Neiba, Bahoruco. – The Dominican Medical College branch in Bahoruco province formally inaugurated a recreational area for children and adults at the CMD Club House, Neiba branch. The inauguration of the pool area for children and adults, gazebos, and two outdoor bathrooms was led by the current president of the Neiba branch, Dr. Luis Emilio Jiménez Reyes, who headed the ribbon-cutting ceremony in the company of Luis Peña Núñez, the new president of the medical association at the national level. He thanked the national board of the College, in the person of Waldo Ariel Suero, of whom he said that he always maintained constant communication, and whose leadership and vision have been fundamental to the success of the management he heads before the CMD branch in Neiba. "Thank you for every phone call, thank you for every WhatsApp message and for maintaining constant communication," said Jiménez Reyes. He also thanked the Regional Director South of the Medical College, to whom he expressed his deepest gratitude for her support and follow-up on the work that was inaugurated today for the benefit of the medical class, highlighting that her commitment to the health of the community is an example for all. He called to make proper use of the recreational area that was inaugurated and reiterated that the constructed work demonstrates that the South also exists and that the doctors of Bahoruco can continue fighting, and that with effort and determination they can achieve the goals they set. He thanked the presence of the medical staff, nurses, teachers, and members of the Provincial Health of Bahoruco (DPS), in the person of Airam Rosina Cuevas Davis, who accompanied him at the head table and of whom he said that she has always been present when requested for a cause. "We are not satisfied with what we have; we will continue to fight for the improvement of our medical class and the community. And we hope that any details needed in the premises of the Medical Association —and how good it is that our president (Peña Núñez) is here, it's almost as if he were committing to it— not only in what is needed in the physical structure and the development of the guild and that fighting spirit, but we want it to continue to be our voice for any problem that arises for the doctors of Neiba and the country," he expressed. For his part, Dr. Luis Peña Núñez thanked the doctors for their support in the recent process and promised not to disappoint them, as well as to continue fighting and sacrificing himself to seek the improvement of the medical sector as a whole. "We will continue building the path and we promise that we will continue the fight, which is the fundamental tool when they want to take away what we are; we will fulfill mandate number one, which consists of defending doctors in any of their dimensions," he said, while calling on the doctors of this branch and the country to remain firm. The inauguration of the social area took place in the auditorium doctor Clodomiro Rivas, of the Medical College premises in this municipality of Neiba, on the morning of this Wednesday.
