The establishment “Andy Bar” in Villa Tapia is closed due to the presence of minors during an operation.

Mirabal Sisters.- Within the framework of Operation Peace Guarantee 2.0, the authorities temporarily closed the establishment “Andy Bar”, located in the El Coco community, in the municipality of Villa Tapia, after verifying the presence of minors consuming alcoholic beverages at the place. The establishment “Andy Bar” was temporarily closed, while the Public Ministry conducts the corresponding investigations and the legal sanctions established for these cases are applied. This type of operation, executed under the guidelines of the police high command, seeks to maintain public order, prevent criminal acts, and protect the integrity of citizens, especially the most vulnerable sectors of society. The operation was led by Colonel René E. Luna Kunhardt, Departmental Commander of the National Police in Hermanas Mirabal, along with Sub-commander Major Reinaldo Baldera, Departmental Sub-commander, with the support of members of the Intelligence Directorate (DINTEL), the Rapid Action Unit, Preventive Police, members of DICRIM and other security agencies.

Also participating were Magistrate Ana Verás, from the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, and Magistrate Cristina Ortiz, from the Public Ministry, who reaffirmed their commitment to the protection of the rights of children and adolescents, guaranteeing the application of the laws that prohibit the sale and consumption of alcohol to minors.
