Santo Domingo. - Next Monday, a coercive measure will be known for the priest Alejandro Peña Sánchez, after being arrested in the community of Sabanera, Santiago Rodríguez province, for reports of sexual assault against three minors.
According to investigations, two of the victims had remained silent for more than 20 years, as they were 14 and 12 years old when the events occurred. The third complaint corresponds to an alleged assault that occurred about four years ago, when the affected person was 14 years old.
In that sense, the Diocese of Mao-Monte Cristi reported through a statement that the priest was suspended from his duties less than a month ago.
