Santo Domingo.-This Sunday at 9:00 in the morning, the coercion measure against a man accused of allegedly stripping a gold chain from the twin brother of journalist Ramón Tolentino will be known.
The hearing will take place in the court of the Judicial City of Santo Domingo Este, where the defendant, identified as Edwin Rojas de la Cruz, alias “Caco”, will have to answer for the accusations against him.
According to the complaint filed by Ramón Alberto Tolentino, the incident occurred when his brother was leaving the Smart Fit gym, located in Villa Mella. While walking towards his vehicle in the parking area, the accused allegedly snatched a gold chain from him and fled the scene on a motorcycle.
After what happened, the journalist made a public call through his social media for the alleged perpetrator to turn himself in to the authorities.
