Santo Domingo. — Wellington Quiw, known as “El Campeón” and popular for his viral videos eating mangos and his characteristic “corito sano,” has been confirmed as one of the participants of the “Live Extendido,” from La Casa de Alofoke. The digital creator and interpreter who has gained fame on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, sees this opportunity as a boost to reconnect with his audience and reactivate his career.
Wellington acknowledged that his motivation comes not only from the professional opportunity, but also from gratitude towards Santiago. "I said, 'wow, will it be true or will it be AI?'... but then I realized it was Alofoke for real, and I was happy. I've been off for many days without releasing a song, so this motivates me a lot," he said.
The content creator narrated how his participation came about. "Alofoke posted a WhatsApp status on Friday, I saw it right away and commented. He told me 'noted,' and then told me to write to him on Monday for the contract details. I wrote to him and that same day he sent it to me, we signed and he told me 'stay tuned.' Alofoke is a sweetheart," he said.
