San Salvador, El Salvador.-<\/strong> The Ambassador of the Dominican Republic<\/strong>, Doctor Flavio Amaury Rond\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas<\/strong>, presented his credentials to the president of El Salvador<\/strong>, Nayib Bukele<\/strong>, during a protocol ceremony held at the Presidential House of the Central American country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominican diplomat was received by a delegation from the Salvadoran Foreign Ministry upon his arrival at the government headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rond\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas, after listening to the interpretation of the anthems of El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, was introduced to President Bukele's office, with whom he discussed plans for cooperation and commercial and cultural exchange between the two nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his conversation with the head of state, the Dominican diplomat expressed the interest of the government of President Luis Abinader in expanding cooperation projects between El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, especially in the field of security and the tourism sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rond\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas said that Bukele, who has visited the Dominican Republic before assuming the government, is willing to share experiences in the field of security with the Dominican authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He underscored that the Salvadoran president highlighted the tourism development of the Dominican Republic<\/strong> in the Caribbean region, which has become a regional leader in the arrival of foreign visitors to the different Dominican destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rond\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas indicated that El Salvador is a market of utmost importance for Dominican exports. He recalled that the Central American nation has been sustaining economic growth due to the policies implemented by President Bukele, which have allowed it to be a benchmark in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also said that El Salvador has a long cultural tradition that has been recognized by the United Nations (UN)<\/a><\/strong> and other international entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
