{"id":469582,"date":"2025-05-29T20:29:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T00:29:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/secret-sex-pleasure-without-commitment\/"},"modified":"2025-05-29T20:29:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T00:29:10","slug":"secret-sex-pleasure-without-commitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/secret-sex-pleasure-without-commitment\/","title":{"rendered":"Secret Sex: Pleasure Without Commitment?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Watching an episode of <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/historia\/biografias\/sarah-jessica-parker\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/historia\/biografias\/sarah-jessica-parker\/\"><strong>Sex and the City<\/strong>,<\/a> a phrase strongly captivated my attention and lingered in my head all day: \"<strong><em>When the relationship starts with sex, it's destined to be just sex\"<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"<strong>Secret sex<\/strong>\" is not only the title of that episode, but also the name of songs, books, and a topic that has even been explored since ancient times. <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arist%C3%B3teles\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arist%C3%B3teles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aristotle<\/a> wrote about unknown sexuality. But, beyond art and philosophy, <strong>Is this type of interaction really healthy<\/strong>?.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a world where individual autonomy and privacy take center stage, this phenomenon, although taboo for some, responds to specific needs and lifestyles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"<strong>No strings attached<\/strong>\" or \"<strong>secret<\/strong>\" relationships have gained ground, especially among generations that reject traditional structures. It's sex without attachment, without promises, and without exposure. But, <strong>how can we distinguish a purely sexual connection from an emotional relationship<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the actions that, we could say, show that it is only sexual and not affective:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He doesn't introduce you to his friends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He doesn't talk about a future together.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He doesn't get involved with your activities or plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You don't go out together or you only go out to places with low or no confluence of people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He doesn't introduce you to his family.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He avoids commitment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He avoids attachment and emotions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.one.gob.do\/index.php\/divorcios-en-aumento-que-esta-pasando-con-los-matrimonios-en-la-republica-dominicana\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"http:\/\/blog.one.gob.do\/index.php\/divorcios-en-aumento-que-esta-pasando-con-los-matrimonios-en-la-republica-dominicana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">If we look at the figures<\/a><\/strong>: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the country, divorces are on the rise. In 2023, 47,027 marriages and 25,914 divorces were recorded. This suggests that more than half of the unions could end in separation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does this tell me<\/strong>? That we are facing generations that prefer not to have long-term commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Are there benefits to having secret relationships<\/strong>? Of course. Among them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Low or no emotional maintenance: no involvement, no need to be aware or attentive to that person. They are casual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serves as a physical outlet for needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allows you the freedom to flirt with other people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are no dates to the cinema or restaurants, no trips inland, no money is spent on joint activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sexual desires that have been previously repressed can be explored.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid emotional stress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Secret and emotionless sex is a practice that exists and will continue to exist in different forms, whether it's a \"<strong>hidden relationship by choice or infidelity<\/strong>\".
